Over all the piece is every well done; I love the pose and the shapes of Bella as well as Ed's torso. However, I believe you could have lengthened and/or squared the jaw more. To me his head looks too small contrasted to his neck muscles. I still like it but that is the only real major fault I really see, and it's a small one at that. I love how you used the contrasting colours and india ink to show depth as well as mood, a lovely job on the hands and face.
my favorite quote, and what a gorgeous piece of art
Hi. We are looking for great Twilight (or other) art for submission to our Twilight Symposium in Forks. All proceeds go to Forks High School. We really hope you'll submit some of your pieces.
More info is at: [link]
Artists' information will be displayed with their works so that attendees will know from whom they can order commissioned work. Also, for each piece donated to the auction, the artist will receive a letter to be used for their non-profit donation.
I hope you submit some of your great art!
Thanks,
Aly and the SSIF Planning Committee
I never liked how Edward and the Cullens never really "seemed" like vampires in the book aside from when they were being obviously supernatural. They all seemed, ESPECIALLY Edward, far to chaste and just a littly too good. Theyres always something to be said about a guy who just borders a little bit evil. Edward was a too goody-goody.
I always liked to imagine that at first, to him, Bella was like a plaything-a very dangerous one-like having a hand grenade on a string instead of a yo-yo. Any minute, any jerk to hard one way or the other, and it all blows up in your face. Edward for being such a controlled vampire, was well too controlled.
THIS picture, captures how i wanted their relationship to be. Dangerous
