Jace and Clary from The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. The 3rd book is a doozy ~~~ I thought it was amazing. It had a very epic angels and demons, dark vs light feel to it. I can't wait to read anything else on Miss Clares' Shadowhunters...
I worked on this piece off and on for the past month along with a few other pieces (I swear Amethyst and Lady O, ya'lls are next!!) I'd love to draw a few pieces for the graphic novel that supposed to be in the works (a little shameless plugging never hurt anyone...  ) The most perfect song for this piece and series in general is Thrice's "For Miles I mean it's EPIC. An hour or so ago, I searched "Mortal Instruments" on DA hoping to find some good art. I didn't see any, and thought it was a darn shame. When I looked at my watch list and saw this, I was shocked.
This piece made my night. It's beautiful.
